I understand that with the performance carburetor there is no need for jetset, is that correct?
I terms of sequence, I imagine its best to do both the piston and the cam together, once the engine is being take apart. But also, in terms of sequence, if I only have the cash for either the car or the piston + cam, is it better to do the carb first or the piston + cam?

The stock CV carb and the VM carb use a totally different set of jets.
Which is better, to swap the carb first or the piston & cam first ?
Well, that depends ... on whether the budget and/or working time is most important. Cost and time for a carb swap is less, cost & time for a cam/piston swap is a bit more. The cam and piston will yield more hp & torque than the carb, but the carb is easier to do.
What is your preference ?
