Last year my cost for one script was $340 for 100 pills. This year the first billing for that script is $620 for 90 pills. You do the math. The only LIES are the ones straight out of your LIAR leader, Trumpedo. YOU seem to support the LIAR, so guess what that makes you?

NOT opinion, fact.

No one here will ask what it is.

Which is very convenient
as it is not, 'check-able',
to determine why.

Xarelto, one of the ones supposed to "drop by 50% or more".

It didn't.

It's pretty clear that medications have not doubled in price.  Data from multiple sources, although I should need only one, but somehow should also use multiple, is that the median increase has been 8%.

https://www.sanders.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/9.29.25-HELP-Minority-Repor...

https://accessiblemeds.org/resources/blog/skyrocketing-drug-prices-whats-driv...

However Needles has Observed a pharmacy receipt, and this is why Observed Reality is a poor qualifier for larger data.  It's real.  It's really real for anyone incapable of understanding what "real" means.   The receipt is real.  However, what Needles Observes on one medication is not equal to all medications - thus it should not be used to qualify all known costs of medications.   He is correct, in my opinion, that Trump has made very inaccurate claims in regard to how he will lower drug prices.

This is also an example demanding multiple references from others, while providing none himself.  If this were a discussion about actual drug prices, and not really about Trump, maybe it would have a more accurate and adult outcome.  This is my opinion.

This post is an opinion.  I have Observed this post to be an opinion.

So as I said, one unique prescription, not representative of costs as a whole.

But wait, what’s this: In 2025, the cost of Xarelto (rivaroxaban) varied significantly, with the branded drug seeing list prices around $634 for 30 days before generics, but generic rivaroxaban became available in March 2025, dropping prices dramatically, with some reports showing generic costs potentially 90%+ lower than brand-name lists by late 2025, alongside Medicare negotiated prices starting to appear for 2026 impacting costs.

Knock it off.  Needle's Observed Reality should supersede multiple data that dispute it.  The FDA approval of generics will allow for considerable Medicare cost adjustments downward in 2026 in my opinion.  Not that it is guaranteed in any way.  This is an opinion.

drug prices didn't go up they went down by 2000%

Some did.  For some reason you think that means they pay you to take it though.  You failed your own Math Test once before:

In my opinion if this was about actual Math and not really about Trump you might be able to have an adult conversation about it.

You really don't understand that if an item is marked up 5000% that it can be reduced by 2000% and they still make a profit?  Just look at Amazon during holiday sales, prices get marked up higher than standard retail and they put them on "sale" for original price.

I buy an apple for a dollar.

I mark it up 5000% and sell it for $50.

The cost of the apple is reduced 2000% so it now sells for $21.

I make $20 off every apple marked down 2000%.

But to thumperclone I would pay you to buy my apple.
