Does anyone know of an alternative bolt-on rearset kit that works with the Savage with minimal customizing? Something like what Ryca provided in their CS-1 kit?

Thanks for the suggestion, but they don’t have rearsets for the Savage. Unless rearsets for one of the other bikes will work. Any idea of compatibility?

What you need is the bracket , go between frame and rear set. You get to make one. Mid or rear set uses basically same bracket. No Ryca parts available so I see fabrication in your future. Caferacerwebshop has some nice rearsets , the non folding peg model is very light and very narrow , as the folding are wider and heavier , but both are nice quality.

RycaDoug,

You can follow my rearset construction from here:https://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1699204635/360 and on.

This build is based on the work of Dave, and he should be given credit for the idea.

If I should do it again, and I probably will, I would move the mounting for the rearset back to coinside with the tube that connects the 2 brackets.

I wish you happy building!

Cheers, Finn Hammer
