YouTube recommendation

I figured I would drop in a recommendation I think people will like.

Check out "Mr. Darcy and the Old Man" on Youtube. This channel focuses on retro-styled motorcycles. I find their content amazing and it turned me onto to single cylinders with their reviews of Royal Enfields. They are currently touring southern India on Classic 350's.

Here is their most recent video.

Just what I Need. I've wanted a Royal Enfield for a long time. Watching this and getting
Excited about those good looking things. Putting this kinda stuff out there in front of
Addicts is surely some kind of Careless Disregard or something.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a garage, just for your stable of bikes? Go out, pick the one that is best suited for the stuff you're going to do today? I'd definitely have an RE, and some kind of dual sport, because there is a place not far that is for dirt bikes and four wheelers.
I'm just glad there is no RE dealer close by.
That said, the Kawasaki 450 is delivering. If it had another five ponies and a seventh gear, that would be Great.
Okay, ten ponies..

JOG !   Roll Eyes

your Kawasaki has the same HP as my 650 Super Meteor !
And
You want 10 more HP ?    !  Undecided

Your Hopeless !  Grin

.............

The 350cc Royal Enfield with 25HP  of single cylinder under-bore super Long Stroke  , two valve pull -- is really great to ride , but you've got to forget about that "Riding a Rocket."  stuff  Smiley

..................

I'm so blessed !   I've got a RE dealer one hour North and one hour South of me.  Wink Wink

It's not a RO?CKET , but it's ample for any-where any-time putting a smile on my face ... and getting 65mpg while doing it !

520 pounds
16 inch rear tire - 150/80  all those "Touring tires" fit ! I'm going to 140/90-16 for the extra tall gearing
19 inch front tire - 100/90    I'm going to 110/90-19 again tall gearing .  The speedometer is 2 mph optimistic  at all speeds.
Really smooth running !  270 degree crank
Belt Drive is available I've already switched from the chain with both 350cc and 650cc
Simple to adjust the valves .  Heck ! it all simple and easy !!
Nice Layed Back ridding position , I got the Touring Seat , but it sits me back too much so I went back to the factory seat.  I'm 32" inseams.
Wide handle bars for easy-effortless driving !  Turns around on two lane roads with extra room to spare without putting my feet down.  Smiley

I was looking a the Interceptor because it's lighter , but the rear foot pegs are not friendly located.   But I'm Happy with the Super Meteor  !!  Smiley Smiley
It's enough , and friendly in every way.    Have you looked at the Shotgun 650 yet ?  Or the Classic 650 ?
I change my own tires so I want tubeless tire.  Then there is the ability to plug a leak if need be .   I carry a compressor and plugs just in case .

I've got a little over 10,000 miles on it now and still on the original rear tire.

Put a Bar in a motorcycle dealership!  What could possibly go wrong?  By 1am, you own 9 bikes.
