I don't feel like fighting anymore if the discussion isn't fair. I regularly visit Imgur and mainly opponents of Trump post material there. When I see how self-righteously anti-Trump material is being distributed and how false it is and I see Trump opponents doing the same here. Then I'm not seriously going to post any more content here.
Hence the waste bucket and the empty comments.
I'd rather not throw pearls to swine. And of course I don't mean that personally towards anyone. But more to the mentality that arose years ago that it has become normal to openly lie in discussions in order to satisfy one's personality.
But there is also the fact that it gives a certain unrest to keep reacting. I wasn't really into politics at all before I came to this forum. And it burdens me to be involved in politics. And I realize that if I don't remain serious like JOG, I will descend to a level of discussing that I no longer support or am happy with.
There's something about Trump that I love somehow. I certainly don't agree with everything he does, but that man touches my heart. I can't deny that and I don't want to. That's actually my main input.
So I have now stated it clearly here, whatever you come up with will not change that until it changes.
Now that I have said it clearly and we are descending further into 2024. I also want to withdraw from political events on the site and beyond.
Before I know it I will become a politician myself and I think that is the worst thing that could happen to me.
What I have gained from discussing here is that I have gotten to know you better. And at times had lots of fun and hart felt moments.
And that I have become better at English.
And now I can also express myself much better in words.
