Passing on a motorcycle
10/09/23 at 10:04:03

Last Saturday I spent the day passing.  A friend towed his bike from out of state, and we rode over Simee Dimeh Pass, Monitor Pass, and Ebbets Pass in the Sierra Nevada mountains.  The weather was perfect, and it was the longest ride I have taken on the newly rebuilt Kawasaki.  We ended up logging 130 miles, and even more smiles!

That’s it rub it in. I’m glad you had a fun & safe ride. And I’m sorry I didn’t attend. Your Kawasaki is pure porn ! You really shouldn’t sell it , if you do sell it , I can’t wait to see what’s next. I always regret selling my bikes , now one is coming back home.

My friend's KTM 1290 Super Adventure.  You know, because everyone needs a 160 horsepower dirt bike...  Shocked

The jury is still out on that.  It was going to help fund the drivetrain in my Studefrankenbaker project, but things have changed on that front.  The sale is no longer required to fund it.  Tomorrow I am getting my new phase converter wired up, and that will get me back on the street tracker project as well.  Things are looking up!

I am pretty sure I don't need that much HP on any motorcycle I ride, even when riding double with luggage!.

My Pontiac Vibe has 126 HP and 4 doors!
