Another tell is how smooth the shaft bore is. I had mine laser cut, which leaves striations on the cut surfaces - never that smooth.

The broken edge will be an absolute teller. Sneeze,s was cut from solid material , the stock will have a crystal looking metal similar to iron pyrite. Just like iron pyrite, whatever the composition is , both would be considered junk metal !
