Good morning, I am in search of a quality vendor who can supply me with the Vulcan front pulley conversion kit. I ordered one recently, on FB and got ripped off and am hopeful that I will have better luck here.

Things for sale are in the marketplace.

Requests for things for sale go in the marketplace.

I think I知 the only one doing those now.
I just cleaned up a new batch of pulleys to machine, but I have one that is ready to ship.
Included is the pulley, two stainless button head screws, and a new lock tab.
I don鋳t need any of your old stuff back.

I strongly suggest that while you have things apart, you do the DragBikeMike double wide rear pulley bearing conversion.
For that, you need a modified left axle spacer (which I sell), and a new double row bearing (which you buy from somewhere).
For that, I need your original axle spacer back when you are done.
Front pulley kit $160 plus $10 shipping
Rear spacer $20 plus $10 shipping.
If you do both at once,  just $10 shipping for both.
If you are interested, you can message me for details.
Thanks,
-Armen

Hi Folks!
I realise I may be a little late to the party, but I知 really interested in doing the front pulley conversion. Are these parts still available? I知 in the UK and any help or info on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Done loads in the past and I知 not shy of a modification or two hehe, but simply don稚 have a lathe etc.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys- cheers!

I stopped making the conversion pulleys for others a few years ago.  It is a very worthwhile conversion - however I was spending too much time working on parts for other folks (while the work I needed to do for myself remained undone)!  The process required me to watch eBay regularly to find good used Kawasaki pulleys, the time to buy and pay for the pulleys.  Then when the pulleys arrived I cleaned the grease and dirt off, machined them which required me to install the mandrells I built onto the lathe, bead blasting and powdercoating them.  Once they were done I added the needed short head screws and a new Suzuki lock washer.  Next it required I spend time to get them listed, collect payment and trips to the Post Office to mail them.  I never worked on more than a couple pulleys at a time - so there really wasn't that ability to do some sort of efficient process and each pulley required me to get the tools out a work on it individually.  Setting up the milling machine and lathe, bead blaster and powder coating tools for the job all takes time.  The process of packing them up and going to the Post Office required another 30 minutes - and International Shipping and filling out the customs forms added another 30 minutes to the process.  I just have too many of my own projects going on to spend 3-4 hours working on parts for other people.

It is likely the best way for you to get this done is to find a local person who is a machinist....or a local motorcycle fanatic who has a milling machine or lathe and will do the machining for you.  You can source the pulley and do the cleanup work - that will save the machinist an hour or two.
