New Members Having Trouble Registering (Read 41 times)

splash07 Serious Thumper Offline Posts: 911 Charleston, SC Gender:	New Members Having Trouble Registering 08/14/23 at 13:29:26 I have had two people tell me over on r/suzukisavage (https://www.reddit.com/r/SuzukiSavage/) that the link provided to them when trying to register here is dead and that they cannot get registered. Has anyone else been told this or know why they might be having this problem? Question for John maybe?

This forum is built on the defunct YaBB format. Its outdated and obsolete since 2017 I believe because of perl being dropped by many.

I might be wrong on some of that, not my forte. But at any rate this forum is just limping along till completely unsupported. So I expect problems from time to time.

And the moderation is not to present at the upper level. I had to create an entire new user because for 6 months I could not get 1 response for help on my other account (Spamy). Not to mention that account was a paid supporting member. A lot of good that did me.

I'm on my third account. I'm not blaming the forum, because I absolutely don't know enough. My email was hacked, so, new account.. But I've asked Serowbot to help me get back a few times and he does it.
