It's about at the top of my weight limit. It sounds like it's got everything I want in a bike.
Have they said what the seat height is?

Haven’t seen a spec sheet on it yet. Only visual thing on the bike I absolutely can’t stand , totally makes the bike look thrown together without any prior planning or they were too far down the line to go back and change it. Gives it a Chinese like quality look to the bike , besides paint work.
Most here know me pretty good by now.

Who here sees what I’m seeing ?
Clue : you rarely see it on any bike  , let alone on a so called quality bike.
So chime in , let me know what is that visual distraction that is just plain old crappy looking !

For me it could be a deciding factor not to buy it , shame on you Triumph !

Who can see it ? Let’s here it !

I’ll bet it’s being built in India , the biggest market , makes total sense. India , Europe and then the US , that tells me 1 to 2 years before we’ll see it. I do like that it’s not a parallel twin and it is their engine not some Honda clone. Probably like the BSA , jointly developed , with Rotax. Real world is  Triumph gives them a rough draft of engines looks and then Rotax does what it does best is build engines.

The dingleberry horn Ruttly?

I don't dig it but not many people will sit on a rock and stare at the bike for hours, so I'll forgive and forget.

If I had a scrambler, I would pull the headlight screen.  It's just too trendy for me.

I'm pretty much fine with everything about these for the price point they are targeting.

I don't believe I see what you dislike.  Everything I see appears to be pretty common on modern motorcycles.

I am not a fan of the rear fender extenders/license plate mounts or short front fenders that are on a lot of bikes these days, and I would prefer proper fenders that actually keep crap from being thrown on you and/or the bike.

Even new sport touring bikes have front fenders that are really short and allow road debris/mud/water to be thrown up on the engine/frame.

Clue :
They did an excellent job of hiding it on both bikes , in plain view

I suppose the little emblems that say "SPEED" and "SCRAMBLER 400X" are a bit cheesy looking.

I would likely remove those and paint or powder coat them to be a bit nicer looking.

Both Fuel tank use great colors that help hide imperfections. Big imperfections ! Both tanks are different capacity and don’t get me wrong I like both models , BUT !
The dimpled fuel tanks to me screams CHEAP and these bikes deserve better. Dimples for space relief for triple trees and fork legs is well hidden. I have to say it looks like crap , the graphics just continue the trendy cheap look. And the properly named Dingleberry horn. If I wanted cheesy graphics I’d buy a R/E. Let the YouTube reviews roll , see what they find out.
Clearly not excited
Yet !

They could have made the tanks lower capacity...
I'll take the dimples.
In fact,... they look kinda' cool...
