I'm too cheep to pay for pulling a trailer that far , even a little one. Roll Eyes

I've got a dollar but I don't want to spend it ... Grin

The less a trip cost ... the more I can enjoy it. Maybe that's where my love for motorcycles started from ? It's been so long ago , I forget ?

If I need to then two bikes will fit in the back of my truck. The truck would mean a dinning shelter (tarp) , one of those 200" gas grills and a folding table.

If you have electricity at the camp site then is an electric grill OK to bring ? The kind to make pancakes and sausage on.

The Sierra Nevada has gotten more snow so far this season than in many, many years. I think I heard the current total is 441" - so far.

I'm not good at ridding or camping in the cold ... or snow !

embarrassed ...

I went to Such GA. (N-GA Mountains) too early one year and the days were nice and up to 75 degrees , but those nights dipping down into the 30's was hard to deal with. Suches is not even a full days ride from home. Repeating that same mistake for a trip halfway across the country ... would suck a lot of the fun out of it.

So let me ask ya this, are ya'll nightly lows up in the 50's by early summer ?

Early summer has pleasant overnight temps. We usually see mid 90's during the day for a couple months in the summer. Right now our highs are barely getting over freezing, two days ago it was 4 degrees at 7 am.

In this picture of Lake Tahoe is part of the Carson Valley, which is just south of Carson City. My home is just out of the frame to the lower right corner. The lake is a 30 minute drive.

Camping Cabin that can sleep up to 6 people without draining our pocket books .

Even more important ... A Tour Guide with a BIG SMILE all the time !!!

Here's a standing invite to any of you fellers that I've had out there for years : If your in my neighborhood ... I have a spare bedroom waiting on ya. If there are too many for the bedroom I'm got a "Garage Room" with a bed , a couch , heater , and AC.
I've also got a REALLY BIG campground , but some of it has to be shared with the cows ... Roll Eyes

And
I'm retired , so I can play "Tour Guide" any day of the week !
