For us, a custom build is for self satisfaction.

So many start a project they have no ability to bring to conclusion.

I’m liking that tank. Tire selection is paramount on a scrambler , a middle ground between dirt and pavement. Never really bothered by tires that slip their way thru the turns , keeps the ride exciting. The lighter the bike the funner it is , heavier bikes not as fun cause your working harder to keep your line , Sportster is a handful and makes me break a sweat in the twisties. Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to race against yourself on 2 of your bikes in some sort of virtual reality race and then throw a few extra competitors in the mix. I would be pushing the junk tire selection button on a regular basis.     Grin

The little Savage is not joke. When I ride it with my buddies that all ride sport bikes with nearly 10 times the power, I easily keep up and even outride them in the twisties. It is unbelievably nimble.
