Replace the shocks with soild struts, paint 'em black to match the frame, add a spring seat,and make your bobber a hardtail.

Guys with hardtail choppers mount all kinds of stuff to the frame right where the swinfarm used to be.

The rear mudguard is attached to the swing arm and not the frame. The ammo box is attached to the bracket from the lower shock mount which also  has the strut from the guard attached to it.
