So I have a question about the greenbean can for the dy o muffler attachment. When cutting it do you need to make it exact size, little short or overlapping?

the commercial gap fillers cut the joint at an angle.
that's so if it's a little long the can can twist and give the extra material someplace to go.
So, if you can, cut to the exact length.
no sense in creating a leak when you're trying to fix one.
