The stats they trot out are what they are Because of THEIR idiotic policies.
They can quote the mass shooting numbers because it's Been illegal for Good Guys to CARRY guns. Now that it's getting more reasonable, more Constitutional, we are Seeing how effective having armed citizens really is. If the average was about15% carrying, it wouldn't be long till the bad guys would have to stop and think about it. It would be Gettin pretty risky. And As Constitutional laws take over and more people are walking around armed, the number of innocents murdered will drop.
I sure would like to see the actual numbers of the dead kids and teachers, because some geniuses actually Believe that a MURDERER would be deterred by a God darned SIGN.. That is the heights of stupidity.

You want to see that number drop? Make it easier for regular people to be armed. You see, if there is nobody to stop the bad guys, they can just shoot until they run out of bullets or targets. But when American citizens don't have idiots controlling them and frustrating their efforts to be prepared so they can defend themselves and the people around them, THEY become The First Responders. What is it goin to take to get you folks to admit that, not Only were the bad guys stopped, there weren't a buncha innocent people injured or killed Because the Good Guy was a lousy shot? I read a report, been a few years, a few cops were shooting at a guy who was in the street and while they were missing him, they were punching holes in the people on the sidewalk.
People who carry, as near as I can tell, take that responsibility seriously. They aren't cops,they are regular folks who don't want to be defenseless or helpless to protect their fellow citizens.
