I removed my tank yesterday to send to painter. The shop is an auto body shop primarily, but specializes in motorcycles and powder coating.  I have found no way to remove the Savage decal effectively with out damaging paint. I want to paint tank the same original color, so I don't have to paint rest of tins. Plan was to 2-tone it like on some S40 models. I have not been able to find any reference to the color, it's an '03' model sort of teal bluish. Anyway, when I rode bike in for them to look at he said they can match the color. Yesterday when I pulled tank there was this sticker on the underside, attached. Does anyone have an idea of if any of the numbers on it represent a paint code?
