Its interesting that the method for decentralizing money and eliminating the requirement for big banking influence is also the method people don't want to use to get it done.

Block-chain is the answer to a lot of this, but you can't do it without modern technology.

Also this - if nobody says anything I must be right - was nonsense when we tried it in 1st grade and its nonsense now.

What I am saying is cash is not a feasible way to decentralize money. Not enough people are going to keep all their cash in their possession. As long as there is physical cash, people will want banks.

Blockchain is how you decentralize currency in a way people can use, trust and function globally with. You can have both, but you can't say no to Blockchain and still say banks and Government meddling need to go.

The rest of it just depends on what each person considers painful. Homeless guy with no cash on you? Press a button and donate $50 to a local shelter.

Most birthday cards are electronic and animated now, money transfers into the bank. Physical gift cards sell by the Billions.

Push a button and buy 30 things at a garage sale instantly. I have done this because the property owner preferred Paypal. Garage sales will exist.

Tooth fairy can only exist with cash? They can't put money into an account and leave a candy with the amount on it? Worked for my Uncle. I bet brick companies used to say Santa wont go to houses without chimneys.

There are many reasons to still carry cash but no tooth fairy or garage sales is a weak argument that will convince fewer and fewer people as time goes on.

Blockchain is the removal of Government from financial transaction. All these "fully controlled" claims are using 30 year old methods to complain about money transfers that almost nobody going forward will use.

I just think there are far better arguments than Tooth Fairies for keeping cash around. Nobody truly thinks garage sales won't exist without cash. Pick some useable points.
