Side Stand switch removal (Read 74 times)

Posts: 57	Side Stand switch removal 03/11/22 at 09:33:35 Can the side stand switch simply be removed from the wiring circuit, or does a jumper wire need to be installed to keep the motor from killing when the bike is put in gear? But that makes the side stand relay useless so you could eliminate it with some judicial clipping and snipping.... no, I don't.

It's sad that all those corporate lawyers got involved in the manufacture of motorcycles. Safety switches all over the bike!! Carry on!! wiguzziman

BTW, great place to check your starter button.

With mid controls, I added a aftermarket kick stand. I am using a lighter, lithium ion battery. I am not worried... the wiring diagram is not that complicated.
