Look at how it Is. It's mounted to a heat sink that gets plenty of air.
You could check the RR temperature on a ride on a hot day. Not in the immediate future,
You can get a real heat sink ,mount it up,and place it where it gets airflow.
A little creativity, some light gauge metal and you might be able to build a cubby up under the seat. Below it,, it's been a while since I've looked at where the gaps are. It's not a big part,and if the wires come up short, you can get some heat shrink tubing and a soldering iron and add length.
