I talked to the director of the TSA CMSD Training Program and requested if possible to get numbers of incidents by percentage.

The 2020 to 2021 straight numbers, to me, would be skewed since there was so little travel in that time. It should be expected that 2020 had less overall incidents.

The FAA has it's own database but it only contains actual reports and investigated incidents. They must fall under Federal Aviation Regulations 91.11, 121.580 and 135.120.

Investigations fall under:

14 CFR 91.11
121.580
125.328
135.120
49 U.S.C. 46318 & 46504.

The charting from 1995 (146 reports) to present, (notice the date range and not just "before") shows a pretty steady reporting average peaking in 2004 with 310. 2020 had 183 and so far this year it is 682.
