NEW oil stays in better than oil with fifteen hundred miles on it. The difference between Dino and synthetic? Dammifino. Carry oil on trips that will be running hard.

6500 rpm is the conservative redline. You can get away with pushing that to around 7500 but with a stock engine you will only reach that rpm in the lower gears. I don't think it will reach that in 4th or 5th without modifications.
