Tensioner time to replacement? and gasket.
11/26/20 at 22:55:22

Hi again everyone. Today I checked my tensioner took some pictures please check let me know what you think.  Thank you.
One more question I guess gasket looks ok(clean and not bent)to reuse.
Should I get new gasket or buy gasket sheet to make myself? If I buy gasket sheet what type and what mil will be gasket size?

Recommended to change the chain at 18mm, you're almost 19mm.

Or you can extend the tensioner.

You must have one of the newer metal gaskets, I hear they are safe to use again.

Hi verslagen1. How can I get your tensioner? Should I send my tensioner to you? I am not in rush to finish job.
Yes gasket is metal type not a paper type. I inspected surface looks good. does anyone reuse and have problems?

The newer gasket is made of metal and is reusable. At least I reused mine, no leaks. Your tensioner needs to be extended with Versy's mod. You're almost there. Smiley

I've re-used my gasket 3 times, no leaks. I put it between 2 boards and hammer it flat. Works great !
cheers!  Cool
ps: switch your caliper to 'mm' and re-measure !

O.746"

1" = 25.4 mm

0.746 x 25.4 = 18.9 mm
