When you removed the front turn signals it wouldn't make any difference un less you let all the fluid leak out.

When I bought my bike at 2800kms It ran fine and immediately after would not start The only thing I found was a loose spark plug which I assume had lost its grounding to the head Tightened up the plug and the bike has run well since. Could this have been your problem?
