Thank you to Srinath

Today, Srinath went well out of his way and came by my house and gifted me a passenger backrest complete with fender rails and turning signal lights for my 96 Savage.  The accessory is in very good condition...'

Not only was it a pleasure to meet him, but he also told me a few things
about the Savage that I did not know.

So, here's a tip of the hat to Srinath and a big and hearty thank you for his kindness.

Right back @ you Bob, and thanks for the tire. Seriously, you gave me a lot more value than I did to you. Besides - I'm a local junkyard dog - The guys @ gaston motorcycle have done a lot (tires, other random parts etc etc for years) spending a weekend there is my idea of fun.
Cool.
Srinath.

Here is a pic of the cheater chopper I built raking it just at the triples.

I'll make a kit - If I ever get the support form fabrication guys -
The hard and technical parts will be made on million $$$ machines and shipped out.
The generic parts (flat bar, chinese shocks etc are easily sourced ...) and 2-3 hrs assembly time and bada boom bada bing - girder FE that handles better than the original.

Lets see, the parts list seems to be growing of late ... need upper triple, lower triple, and brake carrier with possibly upper shock carrier ...

Anyway - this bike handled poorly, it had negative trail ...
This one below (same bike flipped forks) handled like a dream - Very small positive trail.

Cool.
Srinath.
