Mystery connector
06/26/20 at 11:12:51
I have taken a look at the clymers wiring diagrams, and I'm not seeing it. I have this mystery connector with 3-wires, just above the starter relay. The previous owner has it just taped off. Should it be plugged into anything? Everything is working however...
Also, where is the engine electrical ground that everyone posts about. I would like to clean it off and I couldn't see it (unless it's buried beside the airbox somewhere). Thanks

Cant help with the connector, but that ground is on the clutch arm side, and below the rear motor mount, under (I think, an 8 MM head), chrome bolt.

Could you remove the tape from the connector? Also, it looks like that is a green braided wire, a blue braided wire and a black wire with some type of mark. Please confirm or correct.
Those are the colors in the side stand diode.
