I went to a camp as a teenager, they had a thing called "the Blob" - like that in the video above except bigger. It was anchored floating in the lake and you could jump off a diving board onto one end and catapult someone off the other end into the water.

It was great if you had a smaller kid or girl on the "catapult" end and a big guy or a tandem jump onto the other side.
