The above is a marvellously written, and slightly disturbing, albeit darkly humorous piece which gives some insight into how the orange buffoon will be written up in History.

I think it's pretty safe to assume that Trump will definitely run for a second term in the misguided belief or trust in the gambler's fallacy. For all the horror that Trump has inflicted upon the world, for all the ugliness he has allowed to fester, indeed promote, his comeuppance is going to be, as usual the just deserts of his own making. Or in the case of Trump it could also be his just desserts.

There are too many gems to list so I'll just put one that had me LTMing.

At this point, our wartime president gave up entirely on the premise of talking about the deaths of his friends to go on a springtime stroll through the open fields of his synapses.

One of those weird feeling questions was lobbed Trump’s way on Tuesday, like a meatball dangling in the air of the East Room, waiting to be crushed in front of the cameras.
