RYCA muffler question (Read 98 times)

What is needed in order to make the RYCA work with a stock Savage? Do I need any adapters?

The kit comes with an adapter bracket. If you are running stock jetting, you will need to rejet after installation.

A quick check on ebay and you can find the pipe adapter. It's a universal part.

Also is there a jet kit that I should get? I’m not really too familiar with carburetors and I’m still learning, I’d rather just have the whole kit than buying the wrong jet and having to wait to buy more.

I am running rear sets, not the stock controls.

The JETSET is $30 incl. shp. within the US.
You can PayPal or I can send you an invoice to your email for PayPal/credit/debit use.

A muffler with 1.75” ID opening can be mounted to the stock header by using aluminum cut from a coke can. Cut the ends off and then use the flat sheet to wrap around the header as a metal gasket, if you have a good strong muffler clamp. It crushes well and forms a pretty effective seal.
