Edub, Yes, a big hammer and a blow torch! Also, it needed a new fuel tap, and as I already had an Triumph tap sitting around, I made a plate to fit that and mount onto the tank (as the screw hols are all wrong for the tap). AS the tank is from an oil-in-frame (which is what was needed to hide the electronics), it left a larg gap at the front of the tank when mounted. I kne I didn't want the speedo mounted on the top yoke, so I made a bracket out of aluminium and leather to match the seat. This was attached to three strips of steel welded into the tunnel of the tank. If you are interested, the switches fitted into the riser holes are from my first car, a 1953 Austin A35! Mark
