It you are referring to the extension kit that Ed L sells in the market place on this site then it comes with a longer shift rod and an extender/adapter for the brake cable and brake light switch. It comes with everything you need.

The only 'adaptation' you need to make, apart from that, is you might need to loosen a little clip the holds the brake cable in place tucked underneath the back end of the clutch housing to free up  a bit of wriggle room for the cable.
