Thanks again. The rear wheel is an 18in. With shinko tires. The upper tripple clamp is from dc motive. High quality part fit and finish was awesome

I caught on to the top clamp as they're used on café bikes , but what about the handle bars , are they custom made?

I forget the dimensions for the riser holes on the clamp. I used zombie performance bars with hd spacing. Bars are stainless brushed. The tripple was about .020 off. So i milled a little on each side to get the fitment. Its not alot only about 5 sheets of paper thick to give you an idea. Stock tripple is i belive 4 inches. Hd is 3.5. The dc was .020 under from hd.

I just wanted to share the finished product.  It's surprisingly comfortable.  The Biltwell seat is really nice.  I recommend it for anyone doing a bobber.

The peanut tank in combination with those handlebars is pretty sick.

When I got rear ended in 2010 on my cheater chopper/bobber, they made a big deal about not seeing my tail light. But they had no case, I had a dot taillight on it from another bike mounted at the same height and angle and I don't know what they were going to do, but the cops didn't write me up for anything at the accident, so they were just piZZing in the wind I guess. But if you ever got rear ended, and the driver claimed the taillight was by the axle and they didn't see it etc, and you got written up for that, the insurance company would likely not pay you for your or bikes damages.
Fix it ticket is a minor problem, you get written up at an accident and you're likely gonna get screwed. If the driver claims that - the cops will write you up at accident site.

Cool.
Srinath.

Wow, your bike is BEAUTIFUL! This is exactly why I joine SuzukiSavage.com!

I have some questions; it looks like you've used a Sportster 2.2 gal. tank. Did you make your own rear mounting bracket? I've seen photos of RYCA's bracket, and it looks fairly straightforward to replicate, but I wanted to confirm how you did it.

Do you have any photos of how you mounted the rear fender and the seat? I love how yours looks, so I'd love to see how you did it.

What tires, specifically (brand, model, size) are you running?

Did you get your rear wheel from RYCA, or did you get it elsewhere?

Sorry for so many questions, but this is the cleanest bobber/chopper style custom S40/Savage I've ever seen!

I dont know how the cops are where you guys are, but in so cal ive never had problems in the 20 years ive been riding.  Ive totaled 4 bikes and not one cop hassled me only asked if i was ok.  Insurance  always  paid out on any custom i had too. Maybe get gieco?  Only problems i ever had was deserved wheelies and burnouts.

But thanks for the compliments!!  The tank i used the ryca mount and cut it down. I moved it further back and made a support bracket to mount near the stock tank mounts. The seat i made brackets that worked off of the support. The Wheel is a ryca unit with shinko tyres. 18 x 4.00. Rear fender is off the stock mounts with spacers and brackets i made
