The key is they can make enough money by appealing to a small percentage of the population. Normal people don't watch CNN for news unless there's a breaking catastrophe or something like that where you're trying to get a first glimpse of what happened and you're taking advantage of their global reach. Face it, if there's a tsunami or something, I'm flipping between all the channels, but for day to day stuff, I never turn on CNN. Why would I? Based on the first clips I've seen from these real whistle blower's videos, I would be getting everything through one man's "I hate Donald Trump with a burning passion" filter.
