Do I remove anything from Yamaha Raptor petcock?

I am installing this Yamaha Raptor petcock today and had a question? This is how it came out of the box. Do I remove anything? #1 looks plugged up. #2 looks plugged up. #3 is covered by the clear tube. I watched a video but the guy already had the new petcock up inside so I couldn’t tell if he removed anything. Thanks for any advice and suggestions!

The clear plastic sleeves are to protect the filter from stuff in shipping.
Remove them
Inspect the tank and make sure no paint flakes or crud will be interfering with the rubber seal.
