Someone entering a country, vs someone breaking into my house?.
It's like someone's on the internet,... so they must be hacking my computer.
Both situation are similar.
One impacts you, directly.
The other impacts us all, indirectly.
It's a good analogy
You don't see how it works
So you don't have a problem with our NATION being illegally entered
But you don't want strangers in YOUR house.
You really don't see how those things are similar?
Jog's 100% spot on. Its a perfect analogy. Illegal immigrants are breaking, entering and stealing.
Actually the question for Sew or any other liberal whose house sits on a large piece of property is if someone pitched a tent on your land but perhaps not right next to ypur house, would you be okay with that? What if then they had a couple others join them? What if they tapped into your power line for a little electricity? What if your teenager was gonna get a summer job at the gas station but didn't get it cause the owner hired your uninvited guest for a much lower wage? What if later you had to scale back on something you wanted or needed because you had to pay a higher electrical bill? What if this happened to a few others who live around you?
What if one of them shot your neighbors daughter while they were enjoying an afternoon walk on a San Fran pier and her last words were "Daddy..."? What if one of them raped your other neighbors college golfer while she was at school and dumped her body in a lake? What if another who had killed three others across the state, broke into your neighbor's garage looking to steal a bike or something and beat your neighbor to death after he told his wife not to worry, he'd go check out the noise they heard while sleeping. (Which actually happened not to far from me)
See, all those things happend. Its just they didn't happen to you or anyone you know. Kate Steinle, Mollie Tibbits and Randy Nordman were real people, not statistics. The Democratic Party's quest for votes and power through de facto open borders has consequences. If any of you knew these people for real, you'd look at this the way Jog and I do.
Breaking and entering.
