If you have noticed I often use the term collectivism.
Best regards,
I'm just going to ignore you from now on, you obviously have major reading comprehension problems.
Suit yourself.....
However their is a differene between authoritarianism and collectivism.
The enforcement authority at the expense of personal freedom as opposed to the practice of giving a group priority over each individual in it.
Best regards,
um... that's the same thing.....
giving a group priority over each individual in it = the expense of personal freedom
and
the practice = enforcement authority
so try again....
and again, they do often overlap and it's highly unlikely that communism is doable without authoritarianism in reality, but their could, theoretically, be a democratic communist society
Communism is the equal distribution of the economic pie, regardless of any individual characteristics that would entitle one to more or less of the pie. (this might be a highly positive version of the definition, because it's trying to get at the root of it, not the tactics it takes to get there which are always awful)
Authoritarianism is a form of government characterized by strong central power and limited political freedoms. Individual freedoms are subordinate to the state and there is no constitutional accountability and rule of law under an authoritarian regime. Authoritarianism has no goal of equal anything.... they (the government) are better than you and do not abide by any laws that don't suit their immediate wants.
