Stop the Bleed course recommendation

This is a course designed to give the average person enough information to assist someone, or themselves if they incur a physical injury.
We have been running active-shooter exercises 16 hours a day for weeks and about 36% of the trauma events are assessed by medical professionals as being treatable and survivable on-site. This means treatment at the time of injury versus when paramedics arrive. I've been shot twice and I can assure you that immediate and knowledgeable treatment is extremely important. Simple knowledge, and a process can assist one from succumbing to shock which can in itself be deadly.
This isn't exclusively useable for firearm related injuries. Motor vehicle accidents, like being hit on a bike and sent across traffic will need similar immediate treatment.
Just an FYI that these programs are available, and more applicable than a standard AHA style first-aid course.
I have no data or references beyond the link provided above. This is based off of activities and events that I have experienced and witnessed that when compiled and posted here represents my opinion.

If you're ever free from legal constraints that prevent you from being able to talk about your life, I really hope I'm there for it.

I talk about my life regularly. The specifics of my current job assignment is not up for discussion unless I have something in writing allowing me to do so.

Sort of. We weren't "dragging" it as much as disconnecting it from a tow rig at speed. This was to stress test some engine bars, or more specifically the attachment method. Also it was just fun to do since the bike wasn't going to be used anyway.

Shot twice, huh? Just having a loaded gun pointed at me was enough.
