 A lot of people say that.  When BLM first started the primary website it contained a section outlining how people who are generationally oppressed can't be considered racist due to their oppression.  South Africa, and Holocaust survivor Jews hating Germans were used as examples.  A Holocaust survivor hating Germans is due to emotional trauma, not true racism for example.

 There were several examples of victim mentality used to justify bigotry, but then again isn't that how pretty much all bigotry is justified?

 I personally have more respect for people who tell me they just don't like people because they are different, than those who inflate their victimization to manipulate sympathetic understanding.
