so "small" lies aren't just as much a sin?

and "ya gotta pass it to see what's in it"  isn't actually a lie, that's a process problem, amendments to a bill can be added at any time while they are debating and forming it, so until it's actually passed, it's an ever changing thing

and the other two, well, Obama was speaking for someone else, he was speaking for the insurance companies that then screwed us.

oh, and I did keep my doctor

and if you ever believed premiums would go down,.....  well.....

and hasn't Trump and the GOP all said "we'll repeal and replace" and yet......  all liars too

are those lies really that big, compared to lies designed to turn us against each other, turning us into hating immigrants, so much that we rip their families apart and justify it, "oh they broke the law...." ,  to twist a peaceful protest about justice for black lives into an anti-American demagoguery, lies that turn protests into mobs....

Whose throwing them all away? Who is calling for child labor, for slavery, crazy pollution, poison products?.... No one.

well, that's good to hear, cause all the anti-regulation rhetoric and the destruction of the EPA, Education departments over the last 2 years and the rollback of financial regulations... I just assumed you all were going to just rollback everything to get back to whenever it was that you thought America was Great,

so, what's the base level of regulation you are comfortable with?

It's like porn, I'll know it when I see it!

There's no way to define that specifically unless you're addressing a particular topic.

Let's take helmet laws. I've never ridden without a helmet on the dirt or street. Had to many dirt bike crashes to know anything can happen in a blink of an eye. (I almost got hit by a turkey one time, no kidding)  But, I'm against helmet laws for those over a certain age. If it were up to me, I'd say 25 but that's just me. So there's an example of a base level of regulation.

Guns is another great example. Trying to define an assault rifle by listing accessories that make it look scary is an example of over reach because with each alteration, it requires more regulations to address.

I think the current regulations on automatic weapons is fine. No automatic weapon has ever been used in a crime as far as I can remember. The steps in place limit ownership to those who clearly show a desire to own an automatic weapon that is not dangerous to the population. It's expensive and comes with a pretty intense background check, at least that's what I've been told. I tend to believe that's true since they aren't used in crimes.

If they stopped in your house, it's breaking and entering.

Or should we just forget the border and welcome everyone who can get in?
It's okay, say it.
I already know what you want.
And you want to commit suicide by generosity. Just not YOUR money.
Not Your destroyed job market.
Not Your overburdened social safety nets.
You're delusional.
