I had a thought while answering a post about Jog's riding trip. We never talk about motorcycles since we're too busy ripping out each other's throats. We should at least acknowledge the one thing, perhaps the only thing we can all agree on. Bikes.

I've got three right now. Got an old 1992 YZ250 which is still fast as a rocket. She bucked me off about a month ago and rang my bell pretty good. Laid in the dirt for a while trying to figure out where and who I was. Scuffed the heck out of my favorite helmet. Mrs. Webster has really never said anything about my riding, but after that, she insisted I park it until after our daughter's wedding so I don't walk her down the asile on crutches.

Have what I thing is the best all around motorcycle ever and thats a 650 Vstrom. Ride all day at 80mph on freeway but can then take it (slowly) down some ugly trails with a sleeping bag and tent strapped on.

Last year I bought a Honda CTX700 with the DCT transmission. I can see DCT becoming more and more common on bikes. It's fun to ride.

 I agree that there is a section of the forum for starting motorcycle topic threads.  I figure having a non-politic/religion thread here is like having a Trump thread over in Rubber Side Down.

 I post on here all the time and don't throw anything.  Bomb throwing is optional, always has been.
