There are two standard comments about boats and boat owners:

1)  The one about the hole in the water.....

2)  The one about the 2 happiest days in a boat owners life are the day he buys the boat......and the day he sells it.

For some folks I suppose that is true.  They live in the City, buy a new boat, pay somebody else to work on it, store it, winterize it, and they drive to where the boat it when they want to go boating.

Raydwag lives on an island, bought a really nice used boat at a good price, works on it when he needs to, stores it in his yard, hauls it to the boat ramp when he wants to use it, and goes crabbing to get his supper!  I suspect the hole in the water doesn't take a big chunk of Raydawg's money - besides....it is the cost of living (that is the way Raydawg wants to live and that is what is costs).

My brother recently purchased a 1997 24' Bayliner with a seized macerator pump.

He said that if you come and change that pump for him that he'll install your new starter for you
