It's been many years since it was turned over. Bad starter, needs service, or to little battery? Started raining, so I'm inside pondering.

4L battery- 3.5 AH-50 CCA

stock battery- 12 AH -200 CCA

It appears the 4L has less than 1/4 the capacity ,and only 1/4 the available cranking power,I'm just guessing( because I don't have a clamp around amp meter and so I don't know how much power the starter motor draws) but I think you need a larger strength battery, something around 7 AH - and 100-120 CCA . Other's have gone to smaller batteries(I haven't) and should have a better idea of what size you need.
