The gizmo that opens up the face broke. Found reports of others.
I took it apart. Frikken plastic..
The failure doesn't make it less safe. It just won't open. I'm just glad it didn't snap as I was Trying to get it off..
It's not quite two years old. Not abused. And really not all that Used, I've only got around seven thousand miles on the bike in the time I've had it.
Just something to consider if you're buying or wearing an HJC.
