The first day of my last week, I will miss this, but I won’t  

That last day is going to feel even more strange - the ride to/from will seem a bit shorter and easier, there will no need to hurry anything.

I worked and was part owner in the company I left in December from 1985 until 2017......32 years.  I have worked longer for the company than any other employee in the 50 year history.  There are a few of the current employees who could catch up to me eventually - they started working for the company right out of college.

Enjoy and savor this week.......it is the end of an era, and the dawn of a new beginning.

Thankfully you've developed a well rounded life. You don't live  to work.
You have family and fishing and photography and riding.
You won't collapse into a chair and die like guys who are workaholics.
Wear hats, sleeves, use sunscreen and
Live long and prosper.

Ya know JOG buddy, ya die when you quit learning.....
Seems everyday brought opportunities to learn and grow.
Life is not a journey between two destinations, where you board a plane, take off, at the City of Life, and then closing in one your destination.....
Pull back the throttles, losing altitude, entering a glide path to the City of Death, HECK NO!

It’s more like you are launched at Cape Opportunity, and you keep gaining altitude till you reach The Heavens....
Finding a new star, after new star, beyond the first stars....

I have always strived to learn.
And today is no exception.

If I didn’t know better, I might even suspect a conspiracy, on your part.
However, the blame lies with me, and my incessant reminding re: sunscreen
