I am pretty sure those are 8x1.25 bolts/nuts (the studs are welded into the muffler and bolt the muffler to the bracket).
There should also be rubber grommets and metal sleeves in the bracket, then a large washer over the rubber grommet....and I believe the nut is a locking nut.
The stock muffler is very quiet.....it makes for a nice peaceful ride.

Thanks. All I have is the rubber grommets. I’ll have to get nuts, washers, &
the small metal sleeves. I can get all of those at Menards It will be cheaper than going to the dealer. 👍🏼
It might be too quiet, but we’ll see, I can always switch back.

What is the definition of "too quiet"?
Is it based on the sound to your ears......or your neighbors?

I don't mind the noise, actually for me, the louder the better. The neighbors never complain about anything so there's no issue there. The Jardine scares my dog, my wife bitches about it too. Looking for an alternative. The way I see it, I'm sure I won't be happy with the stock muffler. That being said, the Jardine will be reinstalled. I'm just doing it out of curiosity.

A used Harley DYNA offers a nice alternative. More "motorcycle" sound, less weight, affordable, and it isn't offensively loud.

Actually I just bought a used one. Now I have three options. Stock, Jardine, or Dyna.
I'll try them all and make a decision. I'm leaning towards the Dyna after some of the things I read.

Muffler nuts. I see the marketing potential of this. Hell if some people are willing to put nuts on their trucks, then why not on the muffler.

I finally got my nuts straight. The ones that I need are actually 8x1.25 bolts/nuts.
Thanks for providing the information, I picked up what I needed at Menards. It was much cheaper than going to the dealer and I saved 11%.

I always wanted to market "Brass Ones" and offer to ship them to anyone you want like the boss or ex. The hook would be the recipient wouldn't know who sent them.
