NHLycan - good post.  The knuckle draggers want to go back to the smog shrouded smokestack black soot belching Yesteryear where people lived to be 50, and if you could dress yourself, you could get a job (unless of course you were a woman, black etc etc)  This Idyllic Yesteryear is the land of Currier and Ives calendars and " Post " covers.
Free, white and 21 and of course male.  
Now some clueless people whipped all those jobs to other lands where people and countrysides can be polluted leaving behind a healthier land and life extending world where, heaven forbid, you had to go to school and learn difficult skills (beyond gum chewing and crotch scratching) to get the newer types of jobs available.

All this is really simply a war between the old wealth and newer wealth, thankfuly which ever side wins, we will lose.
