I live in Virginia so I will tell you what all this means. The Dems, the Repubs, the media and the leftest just don't get it.

The Republicans put a hack candidate up, an establishment Republican no better than John McCain. Gillespie avoided Trump in all things. The Right (like myself) could not care less about Gillespie, just another establishment guy, we have had Democrat Governors for a long time and Gillespie would not support Trump therefore they did not turn out to vote, they didn't care and they were not motivated.

Unfortunately that also meant the lesser positions also did not get the vote.

Virginia did NOT vote as a referendum against President Trump.

Yet that's EXACTLY what they did....lol .  Your sour grapes position doesn't stand up.

They did not vote because the Repubs did not put up a candidate that did support Trump. If they had you would have seen landslide for the Republicans.

Um... look at the tactics of the candidates.  They embraced the tweety model of fear.  They got ass-backward endorsements from him:

Ralph Northam will allow crime to be rampant in Virginia. He’s weak on crime, weak on our GREAT VETS, Anti-Second Amendment...

....and has been horrible on Virginia economy. Vote @EdWGillespie today!

Yep - I can't wait for 2018!

I apologize to you TT for a minute there I thought that maybe there was a subject in which you did not have superior knowledge than all other humans. I bow to your all knowing intellect.

Oh, and then THIS happened in MN!  Trans Woman Andrea Jenkins Elected to Minneapolis City Council   http://www.advocate.com/politics/2017/11/07/trans-woman-andrea-jenkins-electe...

(I'm sure the resident moron from there will soooo pleased!!)<<<sarcasm

(*[The Edit, was; she to he, in a couple of sentences. So focused on the she, which was a he, who won the city consul.]*)

(If course a side note, Phillipe Cunningham , also a (transgender), won, as well as Andrea Jenkins,, but yo Only hear about  Jenkens)

Thought about telling the, ’total facts’,  about the Mayor Election in Mpls MN.

But alas, I have discovered, from reading these posts,
That I know nothing about local Politics,
Because a, ANTIFA  Ideals  Supporter, from Chicago,
knows so much more about politics in my back door.

So will just do a, ‘Cliff Notes’.

The person who won,
did a great campaign, and, ‘Promised’,
More affordable Housing, raising the Min Wage, And  supporting, ‘minority’, artists.
(Gee is that not,  ‘Prejudice’, because a white, Christian, male, cannot get, ‘help’)
Of course this is coming from, someone who had received numerous, ‘grants’, for, 'art', work.

He handily beat out, Betsy  Hodges  (DFL  incumbent),.
Remember, Betey, she was the one that,  FIRED, Janeé Harteau,
in lew of, Medaria Arradondo, who  has a  VERY  BROWN  NOSE.

Just for the couple of  ‘Panty’ in a bunch people.
Janeé Harteau, was FIRED, after she said:
“Should not have happened. Will get to the bottom of this”
and was given the choice, Resign or get FIRED, by  good old Betey.
(((((Just after Justine Ruszczyk (Damond), was shot and killed in cold blood, by, Mohamed Noor)))))

The Really Funny part.  Their were  15  Candidates !!!!!
(The voting was, ‘Rank Choice’, which means, one voted for 1st, choice, then 2nd, then 3rd.)
No, ‘Party’, only voting.
Yet a candidate could, Identify, with a Parity.

Now here are the, ‘Parties’, that were on the Ballot.
Democratic-Farmer-Labor,    Independent,  Farmer Labor (Different than the DFL),
Basic Income Guarantee ( which was Captain Jack Sparrow’s, Party which past accomplished were, ‘’Occupy movement activist’),
Socialist Workers Party,  Libertarian,  Rainbow, Butterflies, Unicorns, The Idea Party

(Not making this $hit UP folks,
those are the Parties, the, ‘candidates’,
             identified with)

Hey it’s  Mpls  MN, where, a whole lot of the Population that Voted, Live in places, that are inter connected by ’Skyways’, and everything, that is  EVERYTHING, can be accessed via the Skyways, and complain, when it is -30 outside, and the Skyway they have to walk through, is  ONLY  65 above !!!!!

I will await the, ANTIFA  Ideals  Supporter, from Chicago, to tell me.
I know nothing about what is happening. (In my Back Yard)

Now, while the, ANTIFA  Ideals  Supporter, from Chicago,
is telling everybody, he knows, Exactly, what all the details are.
Perhaps  he/she, will give a  explanation on, ‘Libya’.

Have investigated why, found out.
Those that have learned to read early, fast, and comprehend,
are poorer spellers.
 ’Auto’,  Correct has struck again.

(Did change the spelling)

Thinking more about it, Had a good idea,
Have to, BAN, those,  ‘Auto’, (things)

Algebra= foreign language
Trigonometry, just fine, until the final, when algebra to prove the answers was a requirement. Bombed the final, with a 95 average.
I've known a bunch of good mathematicians who just Sukkt at spelling.

Just for S’s & G’s, did a little checking.
Seems that a, Paul Harvey moment is needed here.

Last Years, ‘Regular Election', their were, 32,000 voters.
That’s 32 Thousand., (for a ANTIFA  Ideals  Supporter)

(The last years winner, left for a unknown reason)

This year, in a  Off, special election, their were,
4,437 Votes,  That’s over 27  THOUSAND,  Less.
          That’s  85%   LESS  People Voting
(Not people that, ‘could’ Vote, but those that did)

And she won, by 31 votes.
Which 2,250 people voted for her.
where Last Year, 32,000 people voted !

And the,  (31 vote winner) said:
“Worked hard at targeting voters
they knew would turn out for her in a low-volume election”

(In the other special legislative election,
Ross Ford (R), took nearly 70 percent of the vote)

Hmm, don’t live in the, West Tulsa County district,
so I don’t know the demographics of that area.
And who, the, ’Targeted’, people were.

Just not seeing any,  ‘Gloat’,
or, ’Tide Turning’,  factor here.

His handler is still reeling from the recent butt kickings. But did give him a new coping tool. He has to promote lefty ideology and dodge real back and forth debate. Destroy the thread, stomp on it, but never actually argue a debatable point. If he's not a paid troll, he's bucking for a job.
Mr.Genius Mechanic , independent businessman mentality has exactly zero involvement on the board and promotes suicidal policies for business.
