I would say, the word , “massacre”, is a very bad choice.

‘Massacre’, denotes killing many people, or animals.

I think, Bowling Green event/ incident/affair
would be a much better, comment/alternate description.

But then again, calling a event, where someone tackled another person, and their was no physical harm, over a POV on a topic,
a, '‘Massacre’.

Probably would be a POV, not a Fact.

I use NPR a lot because they cover more topics. If I watched CNN all day I could complain about how "the media" doesn't cover tons of relevant topics.
