At a Christian school.... how about that?
Yeah, all Christians are like this, right? Now, do you honestly think I was doing anything else but trying to elicit a response? "All Christians are like this, right?" is meant as sarcasm. Not sure how this is so tough to understand. What part of the statement asking if "Christian" supremacists are murdering Muslims in Europe is incorrect? That goes right to the point I'm trying to make. Instead of responding with the "oh yeah, well Muslims are worse...", I'd like to see an acknowledgement that - yeah, Christians can be pretty messed up too.Statistically very few Christians murder Muslims in Europe compared to Muslims killing Christians abroad. This may be true, but we (as a country) have killed far more civilians than Muslim extremists have. Further, everyone seems to forget how many Muslims are killed by Muslim extremists every year. Sorry, I don't buy into the whole "war on Christianity" thing. Not like it matters, murder is murder, motivation is motivation. If we are going to talk, talk to someone that's able to do something, offer solutions or help. Or go do something about it yourself. Very true - but the first step in solving a problem is admitting that you have one. We definitely have one in this country... Things like bigotry, racism, sexism, misogyny, xenophobia, homophobia are all too prevalent in this day and age.
