A couple pics of my new build, it is in primer now but so far everyone is telling me to leave it that way. maybe some satin clear coat. Anyway this is my second  BCB build. Lance and the people over there are great, top notch products and service.

Primer is porous and soft, so if you dig the look, I'd suggest talking to a painter about how to make it work out.
Good looking ride.
Gaiters would fit the look.

Your local auto paint store can mix up flat paint colors that look like primer, but won't rust like primer does. Wink

I have cleacoated primer in the past with spraymax 2....it's great stuff, and fuel proof, it now comes in satin, you have to use lung protection when you shoot it.

Well executed, without going over the top, be good if you can keep the paint the way it is.

You know rattle-can polyurethane is gas proof after it cures for about 3 weeks ...   Wink

It looks like those bars on the back of the bike would keep the swing-arm from moving ?   In effect making it a Hard-Tail or bending in the process of trying , or tearing up the fender .    Is that just an illusion ?

The over all look is:
"I'd like to take that thing for a spin !     Cool

Yes, the fender and all components swing with swingarm.

Kawasaki Drifter had that set up , Fender, tail-light and all moves ever time ya hit a bump.
First time I saw it I thought the fender was about to fall off and got out from behind it.   Then we stopped for a break and told the fella "Your fender is about to fall off"  ... we all had a good laugh about it !  Grin

That was WD's buddy on one of our west Tn. rides.    We also went to Dixie Gun Works that same day.   The route we took was through some property lines roads that were one 90deg. turn right after another for 15 miles turns so close we never got past 30mph stuff ... sounds simple don't it ... well the entire area was planted in corn  that was close to 8 feet tall so the entire 15 miles was like one of those labyrinth dotted with a house once in a while .   It was GOOD !  Smiley

I have a set of those bars in black but haven't pulled them out yet.

How do the grips sit compared to stock buckhorns?  I assume about the same height but further apart.

Did you have to replace the cables with custom length?
