New Style Timing Chain?

Awhile back someone was in the process of having timing chains plated or coated with some type of material to increase life expectancy of the pins and wear surfaces. I don't remember exactly what it was maybe teflon or some exotic metal?
Anyways how did they work out? Are any left for sale?
